A new study released by The Construction Institute, The Socio-Economic Impacts of Construction Unionization in Massachusetts by Maria Figueroa, Cornell ILR and Jeff Grabelsky, Cornell ILR,  sh

IBEW Local Union 223 and Lumus Construction are installing a 135 kw solar field at the Bridgewater Correctional Facility. This particular solar field project consists of 502 modules at 224 watts per panel.

Electricians from Local 223, 103 and contractor City Lights Electrical have teamed
up to donate their time and wired the House of Possibilities for special needs children.
This project on the grounds of Stonehill College will provide a place for special needs
Children to go and work with a staff that can assist them in their developmental needs.

With the number of volunteers that showed up, the house was roughed in one day.
We are looking for more volunteers to complete the finish sometime over the winter.
